How To:

 First, you need to open all of the doors and windows in your home, then hold the sage  and light the end until it starts to smoke. Leave it to light for a few moments before gently blowing it out, leaving just the smoke behind. Then you can start the smudging practice.

Make your way from room to room, waving the smoke into all of the opened and closed spaces, doors, and corners. You might need to relight it as you go. I always repeat an affirmation in my mind to set an intention for the clearing and say something like, “Any energy that’s not in the highest and greatest good, please leave this home with love,” but you can say whatever feels comfortable for you.
